1. Using this website
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You must use the site lawfully and must not interfere with its security, operation or content.
2. Product information
We aim to describe and show our products as accurately as possible.
However, colours may vary between screens, and natural materials such as timber, leather, stone and fabric can differ in grain, shade, texture and finish.
Dimensions may also vary slightly where products are handmade or made from natural materials.
3. Availability
Some products are held in stock. Others come from suppliers or are made to order.
A product shown on the website may therefore not always be available for immediate dispatch.
If an item becomes unavailable after you order it, we will contact you and offer a suitable option, revised lead time or refund where appropriate.
4. Prices
Prices appear in South African rand unless we state otherwise.
We may change prices at any time, but this will not affect an order that we have already accepted unless there has been an obvious pricing error.
5. Orders
Submitting an order does not always mean we have accepted it.
We may first need to confirm:
- product availability;
- supplier pricing;
- delivery cost;
- lead time;
- product configuration; or
- custom requirements.
We may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced, wrongly described or cannot reasonably be supplied.
If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund the amount due.
6. Payment
Online payments are processed through Yoco.
Your order may not move into production, sourcing or dispatch until we receive cleared payment, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Custom and made-to-order goods
Some products can be made or ordered to your specification.
This may include changes to:
- size;
- colour;
- finish;
- fabric;
- configuration;
- material; or
- other product details.
Please check all specifications before approving a custom order.
Once production or special procurement begins, we may not be able to cancel or change the order.
This does not remove any rights you may have under South African law where goods are defective, damaged, unsafe or do not match what you ordered.
8. Lead times
Any lead time we give is an estimate unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Supplier delays, manufacturing delays, transport disruption and events outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.
We will try to keep you informed of material delays.
9. Delivery
Delivery charges depend on the product and destination.
Large, fragile or bulky furniture may require specialist transport.
You must give us a correct delivery address and tell us about access limits before delivery, including:
- stairs;
- narrow passages;
- security controls;
- estate access;
- loading limits;
- lift restrictions; and
- other conditions that may affect delivery.
Extra charges caused by incomplete or incorrect access information may be for your account.
Please see our Delivery & Returns page for more information.
10. Risk and ownership
Risk in the goods passes to you when you or your nominated recipient takes delivery, subject to applicable law.
Ownership passes once we receive full payment.
11. Inspecting your order
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.
Tell us promptly if goods arrive:
- damaged;
- incomplete;
- incorrect; or
- materially different from what you ordered.
Photographs help us assess transport damage and other problems quickly.
12. Returns and refunds
Your rights depend on the type of product and reason for return.
We will deal with defective, unsafe, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods in line with applicable South African consumer law.
Change-of-mind returns may be subject to conditions and may not apply to custom, made-to-order or specially sourced goods.
See our Delivery & Returns page for details.
13. Warranties
Products may carry manufacturer or supplier warranties.
Where such a warranty applies, its terms may differ by product or supplier.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that South African law gives you.
14. Website content
All text, photographs, graphics, logos, layouts and other site material belong to SitBetta or their respective rights holders unless stated otherwise.
You may not copy, publish, sell or reuse our content for commercial purposes without permission.

We may use third parties for services such as:
- payment processing;
- delivery;
- website hosting;
- analytics;
- email;
- product supply; and
- customer service.

17. Liability
We do not exclude liability where South African law does not allow us to do so.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

The version on the website at the time of your order will normally apply to that order.
